Extraordinary Call for Adjunct Professors 2025

In accordance with the Institutional Project, the Universidad Industrial de Santander is interested in hiring adjunct professors with human qualities, professional capacity, and academic and educational excellence, who are committed to continuous professional development, both in disciplinary aspects and in pedagogical competencies, thus strengthening and enhancing the educational endeavor.

Any person aspiring to become an adjunct professor at UIS must register in the call for adjunct professors to expand the pool of eligible candidates. Subsequently, they must upload their résumé, which will enable them to consult the announced profiles and, finally, select those for which they wish to apply.

In accordance with the schedule of the call, each applicant may consult the results of the selection process on the University’s website.

Professionals admitted into the pool of eligible candidates for adjunct professors will remain in the pool for a term of up to three (3) years.

Any professional to be hired as an adjunct professor must be selected from the pool of eligible candidates, taking into account the profile requirements and the needs of the academic program.

Professionals admitted into the pool of eligible candidates and hired by the academic units will carry out their teaching activities in person.
