Individuals interested in becoming a professor at the university should have a strong understanding of student competencies, including knowledge, skills, and attitudes, as well as the reasoning processes used by students to propose solutions. This understanding should be in line with the university’s Pedagogical Model, which outlines the curricular premises defined by the educational community and guides pedagogical practices.

The Pedagogical Model takes into account scientific developments related to the nature and quality of learning, promotes the use of efficient methods and techniques, and facilitates the implementation, development, and evaluation of a system of pedagogical innovation. This system should adapt to changes in teaching and other aspects of the curricular system, which is comprised of macro-, meso-, and micro-curricular areas.
