• The result must be at least 60 points to continue to the next stage.

• Only one undergraduate degree will be considered

• Only one doctoral degree will be recognized

• Experience is counted from the date of undergraduate degree and concurrency is not recognized.

• Refresher courses and academic productivity taken during the last 5 years will be taken into account. The courses for which update points are recognized must pertain to pedagogical areas or the performance areas outlined in the call.

Certification of official international or institutional UIS exam, level B2 or higher according to CEFR with validity of less than 2 years, C1 Validity of less than 3 years.  (This certificate will have points in the evaluation of the resume).

Notes:

• If you do not have a valid certificate of proficiency in English with competence B2, C1, and meet the other requirements, you will be summoned by the UIS Language Institute for the presentation of the institutional proficiency exam on the date indicated in the call.

• Applicants who have a valid certificate of competence will be exempt from taking the IL UIS institutional exam.

• Graduates in foreign language graduated from UIS will be exempt from taking the institutional competency exam.

• Inclusion in the list of eligible candidates does not imply any obligation or commitment on the part of the Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS or the UIS Language Institute to allocate spaces, nor does it generate the right to receive financial support for those who have submitted the corresponding applications.

• Once entered into the bank of eligible candidates, their connection will be according to the need for the service for the headquarters and schedule in the profile to which they have applied.

SELECTION

Process

.

An order of eligibility will be established from highest to lowest score, for the election of the candidates in this call, according to the score obtained in the evaluation of the resume for each of the applications.

In the event that the applicant does not accept the conclusion of the contract or does not complete it within the period specified in the schedule, the right will be awarded to the next on the list of eligible candidates and so on until the list of eligible candidates is exhausted.

The list of eligible candidates will be valid for one hundred (100) calendar days from its final publication, so that, in the event of early termination of the contract due to any circumstance and the consequent release of a space, the next on the list of eligible candidates may be called, while it is in force.

The inclusion of an application in the list of eligible candidates does not imply any obligation or commitment on the part of Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS or the UIS Language Institute to assign spaces, nor does it generate the right to receive financial support for those who have submitted the corresponding applications.

CRITERIA OF

Tiebreaker

In the event of a tie in the total score of two or more candidates, the Universidad Industrial de Santander, through the UIS Language Institute, will select the candidate who enters the list of eligible candidates and their order of eligibility applying the following criteria:

• As the first tie-breaking factor, priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate greater experience in the position.

• As a second tie-breaking factor, priority will be given to candidates who have a higher academic preparation verified in a degree.

• As a third tie-breaking factor, candidates whose main residence is in a municipality in the department of Santander will have priority.

• If the tie continues, the first application received will be chosen.
