First Call for Adjunct Professors 2025
General
Conditions
In line with the Institutional Project, the Universidad Industrial de Santander seeks to hire adjunct professors with strong human qualities, work ethic, and academic and educational excellence. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, both in disciplinary knowledge and pedagogical competencies, thereby strengthening and enriching educational practices.
Anyone interested in becoming an adjunct professor at UIS must register for the adjunct faculty call in order to be included in the pool of eligible candidates. Subsequently, applicants must submit their résumé, which will grant access to view the available teaching profiles. Finally, they may choose the specific profiles they wish to apply for.

According to the timeline established for the call, each applicant will be able to view the results of the selection process on the University’s website.
Professionals who enter the pool of eligible adjunct faculty will remain in the pool for a period of up to three (3) years.
Candidates who are to be hired as adjunct professors must be selected from the pool of eligible applicants, based on the characteristics of the profile and the needs of the academic program.
Professionals who are selected and hired by academic units will carry out their teaching duties in person.

Applicants must log into the system using their updated credentials.

Users
1. Registration
Once you have accessed the system, click on Registro (Register), located below the instructions, and complete the required fields with your information.
2. Change Password
A notification will be sent to the registered email with your assigned username and the access link. You must click the link to change your password.
3. Résumé Module
Once you access the information system, the main Human Resources menu will be displayed. Then, you must select Talento humano > Hoja de vida > Mi hoja de vida (Talent Management > Résumé > My Résumé), where you will complete your registration with your personal information.
4. Inscriptions
Once the résumé registration is completed, the system will enable the option Administración de Personal (Personnel Management), where you will see the active calls and be able to apply to the profile or profiles you wish to be considered for.
NOTE 1: If you have never had any type of affiliation with UIS, you must complete a registration process to obtain a username and password in order to access the system and apply for the call.
NOTE 2: To apply for the profiles in the call, follow this path in the system: Talento Humano / Administración de personal / Cátedra / Convocatoria profesores cátedra / Inscripción perfil docente
