GENERAL
Aspects
In accordance with Institutional Project, Universidad Industrial de Santander is interested in hiring professors with human qualities, work capacity and academic and educational excellence, who are committed to continuous professional development, both in disciplinary aspects and in pedagogical skills, strengthening and energizing the educational work.
Any person who aspires to be a professor at the UIS must register in the call for professors to expand the pool of eligible professors; Next, you must register your resume, which will enable you to consult the profiles called, so that, finally, you can choose those to which you want to register.

In accordance with the schedule of the call, each applicant will be able to consult the results of the selection process on the University’s website.
Professionals who enter the bench of those eligible for tenured professors will remain on the bench for a term of up to three (3) years.
The professional who is going to be hired as a professor must be selected from the bank of eligible students, taking into account the characteristics of the profile and the needs of the academic program.
The professionals who enter the bank of eligible students and are hired by the academic units will carry out their teaching activities in person.

The day and time for the teaching session, essay or knowledge test and interview must be consulted by each of the applicants in the corresponding School or Department.

New
Users
1. Registation
When you enter the system, click on the “Register” button below the instructions and fill in the fields with your information.
2. Change Password
The registered email will receive a notification informing the assigned username and the login link; You will need to enter the link to change the password.
3. Resume Module
Once you enter the information system, you will show the main menu of Human Resources and then you must select Human Talent/Resume/My Resume where you must register with your information.
4. Registration
At the end of the resume registration, the system will enable the Personnel Administration option, where the active calls will be displayed and you will be able to register for the profile or profiles to which you wish to apply.
NOTE 1: If you have not had any type of relationship with the UIS, you must register to obtain a username and password to access the system to register for the call.
NOTE 2: To register for the profiles of the call, you must follow the following route in the system: Human Talent / Personnel Administration / Chair / Call for Professors / Registration Teacher Profile.
NOTE 3: Remember to check registered profiles to confirm your registration for the call.
