The result must be at least 60 points to continue to the next stage.

• Only one undergraduate degree will be considered.
• Only one doctoral degree will be recognized.
• Professional experience will be counted from the date of graduation of the undergraduate degree; simultaneous experience will not be recognized.
• Refresher and academic productivity courses completed within the last 5 years will be considered.
  (Courses for which refresher points are granted must belong to pedagogical areas or areas related to the call’s performance criteria.)

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Certification of an official international or UIS institutional exam, level B2 or higher according to the CEFR, valid for less than 2 years for B2 and less than 3 years for C1. (This certificate will be scored in the résumé evaluation.)

An eligibility ranking will be established from highest to lowest score for the selection of candidates in this call, according to the score obtained in the résumé evaluation for each application.

If the applicant does not accept the contract offer or does not complete the process within the period specified in the schedule, the right will be granted to the next person on the eligibility list, and so on, until the list is exhausted.

The eligibility list will be valid for one hundred (100) calendar days from its official publication. Therefore, in the event of early termination of a contract for any reason and the consequent availability of a position, the next person on the eligibility list may be called, as long as the list remains valid.

The inclusion of an application on the eligibility list does not imply any obligation or commitment by Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) or the UIS Language Institute to assign positions, nor does it entitle applicants to receive any financial support.

Tie-Breaking Criteria: In the event of a tie in the total score between two or more candidates, Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), through the UIS Language Institute, will select the candidate to be included in the pool of eligible candidates and determine the order of eligibility according to the following criteria:

• First tie-breaking factor: preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate greater experience in the position.
• Second tie-breaking factor: preference will be given to candidates with higher verified academic qualifications.
• Third tie-breaking factor: preference will be given to candidates whose primary residence is located in a municipality within the Department of Santander.
• If the tie persists, the first application received will be selected.

• Those interested in participating in this call must upload the required documents, supporting materials, and duly completed forms through the link provided by the UIS Language Institute, as indicated in the call.

• Only the documentation uploaded by applicants within the established period will be considered throughout the process. The Language Institute, by decision of the Primary Committee, may authorize the correction of minor errors in the submitted documents during the verification and résumé evaluation stage.

• The accuracy and content of the supporting documents attached are the sole responsibility of the applicant. In any case, the UIS Language Institute reserves the right to verify the information provided by the applicant in the résumé.

• Applications that do not meet the established requirements, include incomplete documentation, or are submitted after the deadline indicated in the call schedule will not be considered.

• Once included in the pool of eligible candidates, hiring will depend on the service needs.
