General
Aspects
Once you have entered into the bank of eligible candidates, you will be linked to the location and schedule according to the need of the service and the profile to which you have applied.
Courses: English for Children, Youth and Adults / Other languages: Portuguese, French, German, Italian for users aged 15 and over.
Modality: In-Person or remote classes.
Opening hours: Saturdays both in the morning and in the afternoon depending on the need of the service. Daily courses are allocated according to demand.
Place: any of the offices in Bucaramanga and the metropolitan area, and Regional offices according to the need of the service.

The result must be at least 50 points to continue to the next stage.
Only one undergraduate degree will be considered
Only one doctoral degree will be recognised
Experience is counted from the date of undergraduate degree and simultaneity is not recognized.
Only refresher courses and academic productivity courses taken during the last 5 years will be taken into account.
The courses for which updating points are recognized must be from the pedagogical areas or performance areas of the call.
LANGUAGE

Certification of official international or institutional UIS exam, level B2 or higher according to CEFR, valid for less than 2 years with the exception of level C2.
If you do not have a current certification of communicative competence in English and you meet the CV assessment, you will be summoned to take the UIS institutional competence exam.

May 14 to 20, 2024 – Registration on the website button in Call Registration, button: Registration.
May 21, 2024 -Review of registrants and sending the FTH-150 institutional resume form to registered candidates.
May 22 to 26, 2024 -Receipt of FTH-150 resume format duly completed with the supports and attachments by the participants.
May 27 to 29, 2024 – Verification of compliance with requirements and assessment of resumes.
INSTITUTIONAL

May 30 to 31, 2024 – Publication of the results of the verification of requirements and assessment of resume.
The summons is sent by email to the candidates who are going to take the LI UIS institutional exam.
June 04, 2024 – Receipt of appeals for reconsideration (1 working day to file the appeal).
June 04 and 05, 2024 – Registration or updating of curriculum vitae in the academic system of the Institute of Languages (aspiring teacher – Institute of Languages)
June 07, 2024 – Administration of the Institutional Competency Exam for Cited Candidates.

June 14, 2024 – Publication of institutional exam results and list of those summoned to sample class (Mini-class).
An email with instructions for the presentation of the mini-class is sent to candidates who continue to the next stage.
June 17 and 18, 2024 – Presentation of the teaching session (mini-class) according to the instructions provided. (10-minute in-person class or remote zoom classroom).

June 19, 2024 – Sending email to applicants who participated in all stages to self-register RSI data and SIA platform.
June 24, 2024 – Publication of the list of candidates who become part of the Eligible Group.
June 25, 2024 – Receipt of appeals for reconsideration (1 working day to file the appeal).
June 25, 2024 – Inclusions in the Eligible Group of UIS Language Institute.
