Aspects
The Rectory of Universidad Industrial de Santander announces the opening of the first call for open merit competition of the year 2024, for the selection of four (4) Laboratory Services Assistants, with full-time dedication, at the operational level, assigned to the Physical Plant Division.
Applicants who are selected through this merit competition will be appointed as Official Workers of the University, an institution operating under a special regime that grants autonomy. The University is linked to the Ministry of National Education and is organized as a public establishment at the departmental level, with legal personality, as well as academic, administrative, and financial autonomy, and independent assets.
The University invites interested individuals to participate in the aforementioned call.

Results
Claims or observations must be submitted by written communication from October 29 to 31, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the UIS Bucarica Headquarters, Carrera 19 # 35-02, Bucaramanga, Reception (First Floor), the same space that was adapted for the delivery of resumes by the applicants to the contest.
In the communication submitted, the applicant must specify the following information:
Name of the position to which you applied.
Claim or observation with the respective arguments.
Address to which the response to the complaint or observation by the University will be sent, or email account to which the response can be sent.
* Responses to the complaints or observations submitted will be sent to the address and/or email account registered in the communication sent by the applicant.
Claims or observations must be submitted by written communication on November 14 and 15, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the UIS Bucarica Headquarters, Carrera 19 # 35-02, Bucaramanga, Reception (First Floor), the same space that was adapted for the delivery of resumes by the applicants to the contest.
In the communication submitted, the applicant must specify the following information:
Announcement number and name of the position to which you applied.
Claim or observation with the respective arguments.
Address to which the response to the complaint or observation by the University will be sent, or email account to which the response can be sent.
* During the dates established in the schedule of Call 001 of 2024 for Official Workers, November 14 and 15, 2024, no claims or observations were submitted by applicants regarding the resume test.
* Candidates who qualified for the practice of the second test, called the psychotechnical test, are summoned according to the following information:
Date: Saturday, November 23, 2024
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Place: Universidad Industrial de Santander, Carrera 27 Calle 9 Campus Central, Edificio CENTIC.
Entrance to the Campus: Mandatory through the Carrera 30 Gate.
Room: see attached table. List of candidates summoned to the psychotechnical test.
Directions:
Present yourself at the entrance of Carrera 30 at least half an hour before the aforementioned time.
Have the time indicated in the aforementioned time (three hours).
Bring an identification document (ID).
The entry of cell phones is prohibited.
The entry of bags, suitcases, briefcases, etc. is prohibited.
SUMMONS KNOWLEDGE TEST
Applicants who qualified for the practice of the third test, called the knowledge test, are summoned as follows:
A. THEORETICAL TEST
Date: Friday, November 29, 2024
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Place: UIS Bucarica Headquarters, Carrera 19 #35-02, Salón Hormiga.
Directions:
Have the time indicated in the above schedule (three hours).
Bring an identification document (ID).
Bring a pen.
The entry of cell phones is prohibited.
Bags, suitcases, briefcases, etc. are not allowed.
Parking is not available
Arrive 15 minutes before the appointment
B. PRACTICAL EVIDENCE
Date: Saturday, November 30, 2024
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Place: UIS headquarters, Carrera 27 Calle 9
Meeting point: room 208 Camilo Torres Building
Directions:
Have the time indicated in the above schedule (3 hours).
Bring an identification document (ID).
Bring a pen.
Bring comfortable clothes (jeans and t-shirt) and closed shoes with socks.
The entry of cell phones is prohibited.
Bags, suitcases, briefcases, etc. are not allowed.
Arrive 15 minutes before the appointment
In the room the registration will be made and then they will be directed to the laboratory for the practical test.
Claims or observations must be submitted by written communication on December 9 and 10, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the UIS Bucarica Headquarters, Carrera 19 # 35-02, Bucaramanga, Reception (First Floor), the same space that was adapted for the delivery of resumes by the applicants to the contest.
In the communication submitted, the applicant must specify the following information:
Announcement number and name of the position to which you applied.
Claim or observation with the respective arguments.
Address to which the response to the complaint or observation by the University will be sent, or email account to which the response can be sent
* Complaints or observations
During the dates established in the schedule of Call 001 of 2024 for Official Workers, December 9 and 10, 2024, no complaints or observations were submitted by applicants regarding the knowledge test.
* Applicants who qualified in the knowledge test are summoned to the competency-based interview, which will take place as follows:
Date: Friday, December 13, 2024
Time: between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., competency-based interviews will take place. See in the table attached in button No. 10, the specific time of appointment for each applicant.
Place: UIS Bucarica Headquarters, Carrera 19 # 35 – 02.
DIRECTIONS
Arrive at least 15 minutes before the time quoted according to the attached table.
Have the time indicated in the aforementioned schedule according to the attached table.
Bring an identification document (ID).
Bring a pen

FINAL RESULTS
1. Claims or observations due to arithmetic error must be submitted by written communication on December 18 and 19, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the UIS Bucarica Headquarters, Carrera 19 # 35-02, Bucaramanga, Reception (First Floor), the same space that was adapted for the delivery of resumes by the applicants to the competition.
2. In the communication submitted, the applicant must specify the following information:
Announcement number and name of the position to which you applied.
Claim or observation with the respective arguments.
Address to which the response to the complaint or observation by the University will be sent, or email account to which the response can be sent.
Claims or observations due to arithmetic error
During the dates established in the schedule of Call 001 of 2024 for Official Workers, December 18 and 19, 2024, no claims or observations were submitted due to arithmetic error in the results of the preliminary total score.
